Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers: It’s Not A Punishment It’s A Solution
A lot of addicts see alcohol rehabilitation centers as a punishment because they’ve been bad and now someone needs to wipe them into shape so that they start behaving again. Most doctors and staff at rehabs will tell the addict and the family that if they are looking at rehab as a way of punishing the addict for their bad behavior that they need to change that way of thinking immediately. Rehab is a hospital for addicts who suffer from alcohol or drug abuse which is an illness and needs to be viewed and treated as such.
