Boxing is a highly technical and disciplined martial art that addresses "fear management" in a way that has helped many troubled young men gain a less fearful approach to life and a stronger sense of self. Boxing helps the individual to overcome fear. It doesn't mean that boxing will take fear away, but it teaches a disciplined response enabling one to live and function well despite fear responses.
