Nestled on 37 breathtaking acres in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, Shadow Mountain Academy is dedicated to providing real solutions for young men transitioning into a life of sobriety. As an extended care program for males 17-26, Shadow Mountain is designed to continue the therapeutic process for a young adults who have had previous treatment and/or counseling experiences for substance abuse. This is an opportunity for residents to expand upon the knowledge gained from a previous experience. In addition, residents will delve into the issues specific to those ages in early sobriety – the mental, spiritual, and social issues that have become roadblocks hindering the ability to reach their passion and live a healthy, fulfilling sober life.
